MSME Mitra is promoted by Podar Enterprise and Oyster Capital jointly. MSME Mitra is a technology enabled full service platform for its MSME members on one hand and service providers on the other hand. The idea is to fill the gap esp. for MSMEs when it comes to wide spectrum of services as well as market opportunities through single platform.

Podar Enterprise is more than 100 year old venture. Podar Group is based in Mumbai. It is headed presently by the group scion Shri Rajiv Podar. The group is fairly diversified with interests ranging from Education, EdTech, Mining, Trade, Advisory and Investments. The group also represents several countries/provinces as their Trade Representative in India.

Oyster Capital is founded by Shri Atul Joshi who is a well renowned figure in financial, banking and economic circles. He brings with him a diversified experience of over 30 years in banking, finance, rating, advisory and investment. Previously he was heading South Asia operations for Fitch Ratings Group. Earlier he has worked with ICICI Bank and ING Vysya Bank. He is also an investor in a few startups.
